The Scarlet Singapore, a boutique hotel opened in December 2004, is nestled between Chinatown's heritage district and Club Street. Housed in a row of 1868 shophouses and a 1924 Art Deco building, it features 80 air-conditioned rooms with minibars, complimentary Wi-Fi, cable programming, private bathrooms with showers, complimentary toiletries, hair dryers, phones, laptop-compatible safes, and desks.
